Orange the World: AHRA Stands Against Gender-Based Violence

December 09, 2025

Every year, from 25 November to 10 December, the world unites to “Orange the World” and raise awareness about gender-based violence. At the Southeast Asia Harm Reduction Association (AHRA), we stand together with our communities, partners, and allies to call for safety, dignity, and equality for all especially for women, girls, and key populations who face heightened vulnerability.

AHRA joined the global Orange Campaign through our Photo Advocacy Initiative, highlighting the real voices and powerful stories of individuals across Southeast Asia. These images remind us that ending violence is not only possible but urgent.

We reaffirm our commitment to:

  • Promoting gender-responsive harm reduction services
  • Creating safe spaces for women and marginalized communities
  • Advocating for policies that protect and empower
  • Supporting survivors through compassion, solidarity, and evidence-based responses

Let’s stand together to end gender-based violence.
