We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Naomi Burke-Shyne, former Executive Director of Harm Reduction International.
Naomi was a passionate and visionary leader in the global harm reduction movement whose impact will be felt for years to come. Her commitment to justice, equity, and human rights inspired many of us working in this field.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the team at Harm Reduction International, and to Naomi’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
May Naomi rest in peace. Her legacy lives on through the movement she helped shape.
